20 - Wild Card
On December 8, band students from Southern Arkansas University spread musical cheer to assisted living residents in Magnolia.
The group traveled to Dudneywood Assisted Living Sunday afternoon to perform a selection of instrument Christmas carols, featuring favorites such as "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "Up on the Housetop," and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas." The ensemble, comprised of members and membership candidates of SAU's Tau Beta Sigma chapter, plus two trombone members from the SAU Band, enjoyed being in the community and interacting with the staff and residents in attendance.

SAU's Tau Beta Sigma chapter held this event as part of the national organization's community engagement initiative, Coda. Participation in this event will count toward the chapter's White Stripe in the Focus on Five campaign.
